Today (if you can call it that) consisted of about 36 hours. We've all heard someone say, "I wish there were more hours in the day." I agree with this statement, but only if that day contains a decent amount of sleep. My dad and I took a 6 pm flight from Detroit to Amsterdam. The flight was about 8 hours total. In that time, I watched three movies, had two meals, and threw up in the airplane bathroom once (TMI?). I did finally get the chance to watch the new Tarzan, Devil Wears Prada, and Miss P-something's Home for Peculiar Children. The last 2 hours of the trip were excruciating though. Apparently I've inherited my mom's motion sickness (thanks mom). After our first flight, we had to wait in a crazy long line to go through customs in Amsterdam. Then, we flew to Dusseldorf and took a train to Münster. We walked down to the university my dad will be teaching at for a few days, and then we went to an Italian restaurant where I had one of the biggest margherita pizzas I've ever seen! And then off to bed at 5pm!
P.S. look at my denim on denim on denim. It's very red carpet Brittany/Justin 2001. (I was just trying to wear all of the bulky stuff on the plane 😋)
