Today started off pretty early. My roommate, Karli, and I went to breakfast in the hotel and then got ready to leave. We took the tube a few stops before getting off near Big Ben. We walked to Westminster Abbey for our tour. I loved Westminster, but you couldn't take any pictures inside! There are so many famous people that are buried there or that have memorial plaques like Lewis Carroll, Sir Isaac Newton, and Charles Darwin. It was super neat. After that, we went to Buckingham palace to watch the changing of thw guards. Then We had free time! A group of us went to get lunch and go shopping. We went to Harrod's which is a huge British department store. We also went to a few different stores to go shopping! After shopping, we met back up with our group for dinner. We had a pretty good dinner, and then a group of us went to go get drinks in Soho Square! It was a good first full day! I will upload more pictures when the Wi-Fi is better!
