We decided to go to France today! We woke up and had breakfast, and then Anja's mom drove us to Strasbourg, France. Strasbourg is really close to Germany, and in the past it passed back and forth between France and Germany. We got out and walked around Le Petit France which is the old part of Strasbourg. Anja desperately needed her French elcair, so we stopped and got eclairs and chocolate pastries which were amazing. We ate them along the river and then walked to the main cathedral. The cathedral is known for its stained glass. After that we walked around and looked at some of the shops and other famous buildings. Then, went went and had a drink on the steps of the Opera house. We went back to get more French desserts, too since one eclairs was not enough. We decided to drive to another town in France for dinner. We walked around and eventually found a small French place to eat. We got some interesting food. It seemed more German than French to me, but I guess that makes sense since we are so close to the border. Then, we drove about two hours back to their house and went to bed! (Today was pretty much a food blog.)
