Today was the day of the confirmation. We woke up and had breakfast at the hotel before driving to the hotel for the confirmation. The service was really long and in German, but I made it through! After the service, people let balloons go with notes attached, but it was raining so the balloons weren't floating and were getting caught on people's umbrellas and in trees. It was so funny. After the service, we went back to the hotel, and they had a reception. I had WAY too much food today. They had lunch, then cake, and then dinner, and it was all buffet style. And I have no self control. It was really good. Then, we danced and talked and drank wine for the rest of the night with the people at the party. It was a long day!
