Today was a full day in Berlin! Anja and I went to get breakfast at one of the train stations. Right after eating we went to the Holocaust museum. On our way to the museum Anja made us walk through the rain!! Anja!! But it wasnt raining too hard, and I got my steps in! The museum was pretty interesting; there was a lot to read. We went back to our favorite train station to get lunch. We got Fish&Chips or shrimp and chips in our case. It was really good. After that, we went to the DDR museum. There was a lot of interactive stuff, but I wasnt as interested in that museum. I did find a picture in the DDR museum that looked like my sister, though! (If you know my sister, look at the mouth of the drawing and then peripherally the rest looks like her too!) Then, we walked around and walked up to different famous buildings in Berlin. After walking around, we went to a really weird art museum. It was called "Bosch Alive." Bosch was a painter from the Netherlands that lived 700 some years ago. The main part of the exhibit was a room with huge screens and bean bag chairs. So you sat in the bean bags and watched his art on the screen, but it wasnt just pictures of his paintings. Someone had animated the people and animals in his paintings but not in an appealing way. It was really weird. There was strange music with the videos as well. It was an experience. After that, we went to a Vietnamese restaurant called "Good Morning Vietnam!" The food was so good! We got Mojitos that were pretty good. I got this really good pho-type soup/salad thing. It was amazing. Then, we went back to the apartment, and then left with Linda to go to a bar called bar 11n. Trying to get home was really hard! The busses were confusing and we ended up walking most of the way home, but we met a guy that was trying to figure out how to go to the same area as us, so we walked with him. It turns out he's from the small town that Anja works in (which is on the other end of the country). Then bed! Early morning tomorrow morning
